Children’s Ministry

The pre-kindergarten through sixth grade years are some of the most impressionable years of a child’s life. Our hope is to make it a good impression. Our children’s ministries are centered around Christian values and education, and are combined with genuine care and concern. Our children’s ministry includes the following opportunities:

* Sunday School every Sunday morning from 9:45-10:45.

* Mission Friends every first Sunday of the month. This is held during the regular worship service time in the nursery.

* Children’s worship service every second and fourth Sunday of the month. This is held during the 11:00 service in the Hendrick Sunday school classroom.

* On Wednesday nights, boys in 4 – 6th grade meet in the Children’s III Sunday school classroom for a time of study and recreation. Girls in grades 1-2 meet in the “Callaway” Sunday School Class and grades 3-6 meet in the Children’s Library for GA’s (Girls in Action). These programs are designed to help young boys and girls become more aware of and active in missions.

* Our church provides a play school program for infants through Pre-K. To enroll your child in the play school program, contact Pat Eaton at the church on weekday mornings or home at 874-2863.

• Vacation Bible School is held every year during the last week in June. Enrollment begins two weeks prior.

Nursery is provided for Sunday morning services and for all Wednesday evening programs.
