WMU

WMU (Woman’s Missionary Union) is a mission program for preschool children, girls in grades 1 through 12, and women of all ages.

  • Mission Friends (preschoolers) – Meet the first Sunday of each month during the 11 am service
  • GAs (girls in grades 1-6) – Meet each Wednesday from 6:50 to 7:45
  • Acteens – Do not meet on a regular schedule but are involved in mission projects
  • Women on Mission – Groups meet monthly – some during the day, and another in the evening

What do we do?

  • Learn about the work of Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF) missionaries through the use of CBF missions education material
  • Support missionaries and mission effort with prayer
  • Encourage financial support for CBF missionaries and other mission endeavors
  • Support and engage in projects for international, national, state, and local missions (e.g. CBF, CBF NC, WMU NC, Feed the Elderly, Christian charitable organizations, keeping in touch with homebound/nursing home members & college students, supporting the work of our church)
